Scheduling

The requirements of a modern project management system are diverse and include the efficient planning, management and control of performance/scope, schedules, costs and resources. Recording, editing and evaluating project information in a central system is very beneficial to all project members. This provides real-time information about project progress and project member workload. It also enables a current overview of schedules and milestones, as well as an evaluation of specific project information in the form of management reports.

Project structuring
The system enables you to organize projects into phases, transactions (and collected transactions), milestones, deadlines and delivery items, and allows you to adjust them easily to company-specific requirements and standards.

Views
The project structure can be displayed in the form of a structured list, task list or Gantt diagram.

Sorting and filtering functions
Various sorting and filtering functions enables you to customize the user-specific perspective to different project situations (e.g. late transactions). Colors and icons support the display of specific criteria (e.g. critical path). Status reports also provide a current overview of the project status.

Resource planning

A resource-specific work calendar is created when you assign project members to individual transactions. It displays the current workload for individual project members. A wizard supports the allocation of resources and provides a warning when there is a resource overload.

When project members are assigned a task, they will automatically receive a confirmation via e-mail. All assigned tasks are clearly displayed in the personal workspace of the project member.

A current picture of the degree of completeness and/or progress of individual tasks is used to provide a status check.

Target / Actual comparison
Deviations from the base schedule are determined via an archiving function. A target / actual comparison provides a quick overview of the project status, enables corrective measures to be taken as quickly as possible and is used to analyze how the project went when completed.
Templates
Project structures can be defined once and approved to be used as templates for future projects.
